A few favorite photos

Hi everyone,
I thought tonight I would share with you two photographs that I randomly took at weddings that I truly adore and love.  The first was taken while waiting for an elevator, the bride remarked, "I love all the things that you randomly see and make beautiful, this is the reason why I hired you."   I love compliments like that, it brightens my day.  It just goes to show that I do more than just what is expected, well that's not entirely true my couples have come to expect this.  Thus, raising my bar...I like a good challenge.

The second photograph was taken in a similar light; a groomsman was waiting on his girlfriend,  who was a bridesmaid, to get done talking and congratulating the bride.  What I found so interesting wasn't how patient he waited but how gently he was holding the flowers.  It was really beautiful and the moment couldn't be passed up.

Josh and Rebekah's Wedding

This is Bekah and Josh's wedding. :)  I hope that you enjoy it.  They were married outside at William Jewell College.  We spent some time in the sweet chapel right next door.  Bekah and Josh are a wonderful couple.  Right after their wedding they left to teach English in Korea!

Love you guys.  Have a happy holiday.  Your own Blog is on it's way. :)  Talk with you soon.

Rebekah's Bridal Session

Rebekah is my "Mona Lisa", she and her friends came all the way from St. Louis, Mo. to get bridal portraits and pre-wedding group shots taken. That day was so rainy.  We photographed in between rain clouds. :)  But it was worth it, the reflection from the stone on the ground made that much more of an impact on the photos.  And towards the end of the evening we got a rainbow.  Yes...that photo is real.
This was my first time photographing a pre-wedding bridal party session.  It was wonderful, her friends are amazing and worth a million; getting to know them all before the wedding made their day even that much more special.  I hope you enjoy the photos.  Please leave comments if you find something interesting or beautiful.
